Tell us about your family:
I am the proud father of an eight year old son, Tyler. He is in the third grade at Kihei Elementary School. I also have two sisters, Malia & Iwalani, one brother, Kalama, and a beautiful niece named Sascha. We all live on Maui and are all very close.

What high school did you go to?
I went to Kalaheo High School.

Where do you work and what do you do at your job?
I am a Real Property Appraiser Assistant for the County of Maui. Computer work, data input, field work, verifying new construction, that kind of stuff. I'm also a dj for "Maui Tunes" We specialize in destination weddings and conventions and no job is too big or small for us!

What do you enjoy doing when you're not working?
When I'm not working for the County of Maui during the day or as a dj for "Maui Tunes" at night, i'm usually trying to squeeze in a round of golf, fishing, playing softball, something outdoors. Usually it's golf, i'm still crazy about the game and my son is old enough to play now so it's more rewarding when we do it together (unless it's a tournament, then knows to give dad space)

What kind of music do you like?
I love jazz music.

What goals do you have for your life?
My short term goals are to work at least ten years for the County of Maui, then possibly pursue a career in private industry as a Real Estate Appraiser. Mid term goals include home ownership, financing college for my son, marriage, and possibly more children...My long term goals are to be the best I can at whatever stage my life is at. Good health, true friends and happiness. As far as music...I feel like I'm pretty much in a position to take it as it comes and not expect too much. Being a single parent with two jobs it makes it interesting to figure out where your passions fit in, but we'll see.

What motivated you to enter Hawaii Stars?
I actually just went to watch the auditions here on Maui. I have been on the show before, during the 1990's (wow, that seems soo long ago). When I got to the auditions, some very close and important friends (you know who you are) talked me into it. Now I'm TOTALLY excited about the whole thing. It's going to be AWESOME!

What do you hope for the most out of being on Hawaii Stars?
What I hope for most out of being on Hawaii Stars is making new relationships with my fellow contestants and the crew as well as personal growth as a performer. Like Tony said at our initial meeting, obviously every contestant can sing, but the ultimate goal is to turn us into performers. That's what I'm really excited about!
